Well it is that time of year again for our annual Advanced Referee Clinic which will be held on Saturday, 7/31/2010.  This clinic is open to all Kentucky Referees but MANDATORY for grades 7, 6, 5, and 4's.  If you are a grade 8 or 9 referee and decide to attend this Clinic it will count as your 2011 recertification clinic. As experience has shown us the test requires some study upon your part.  We are recommending that you review the following; Laws of the Game, Guide to Procedures, and Advice to Referees on the Laws of the Game (all are available online at KYREFEREE.com). Additionally you might want to examine the Weeks in Review that can be found at http://www.ussoccer.com/Referees/Week-In-Review.aspx. Other useful information can be found at http://www.ussoccer.com/Referees/Laws-of-the-Game.aspx

The Clinic’s fitness test, field work, class work and examination will be held at Fern Creek High School (http://www.jcpsky.net/Directions/012.html).  The whistle to start the fitness test will blow at 9:00 AM and the classroom work will begin at 12:00 PM. It is our goal to finish at 5:30 PM. Showers will be available but you will have to bring your own soap and towel. Since we are trying to get out as soon as possible we will have a working lunch.  Friday night accommodations will be provide to referees driving over 2 hours on a pre-approved basis.  By the way do not forget your #2 pencil.

Assessment Info:
You have until December 31, 2010 to complete your maintenance/upgrade assessment requirements for the 2011 registration year.  Please make sure you follow the directions posted under "Upgrade" to get an assessor assigned to your game.
